自省与感恩 INTROSPECTION and GRATITUDE
天主教核心思想之一认为“人生来就是有罪的。”所以，我们活在这个世上就是赎罪，我们要祷告，我们要忏悔，其实也是不断反省自己的过程。自觉是人的基本属性，人在不断反省错误中进步，同时克制来自于本能中恶的欲望。
One of the core ideas of Catholicism believes that ” people are born with sin. ” Therefore, we live in this world to atone for our sins, we must pray, and we must repent, which is actually a process of continuous self-reflection. We can see a lot of shaky shots in the film, this technique adds to the sense of breathing of the interaction between the two Popes and can make one feel more immersed, like they are right there with them.
The actor who played Bergoglio never forgot his agenda which is to hand in his “resignation latter” to Pope Benedict XVI. Whenever he brings up his letter of resignation and elicits some reactions from the Pope, it’s a witty clashing of the characters.
