I will work on the monthly timeline post covering March at a later date, because truthfully, I am really happy and in a 过节 festive mood these past few days. Most of the news events were just 雷声大 雨点小 – all thunder and no rain.
So let’s look at the more exciting ‘milestone’ events that has occurred – what a happy blur of events!
As if knowing that giving too much at once to the thirsty or hungry at one go is really bad for our health, all these updates started from Mar 31 to Apr 3. Turns out the crumbs were scattered all around, if we’d known where to look.

If he was hacked, there are many familial venues to send out warnings to fans – BDY official account, The Teashop Aunt Chen, even his 发小 bro Susu is online on his game streaming where he has been sporting the cap over the past few days like a Champion..
ZZH is also wearing the newly launched cap in a teaser photograph.
There have also been leaks of video where he and an entire crew were spotted shooting at the Forbidden palace in late February.
If anyone is forcing him to do all these, its CAPA, because they forced him to do or die.
艰辛 Hardship
I wonder if as the months wore on, some people seem to have forgotten the sheer magnitude of what weighs on ZZH every single day of his current life. While we all moved on living our own lives, facing our own set of problems, let us remember that ZZH’s problems have not ‘changed’.
Many cannot seem to understand why ZZH would choose to launch a business at this time, nearly 3 months after he submitted his case to the police, when things seem to have stalled on the judicial front. Even after his case was referenced by a speaker at the TwoSessions in March, it would appear that there was no resounding wave arising from that event. The only news article covering that topic, which alluded to an ‘Actor Zhang’, was deleted swiftly from the platform within a day. They wonder if his starting a business meant that he has ‘given up’. On the contrary, I feel that he is preparing his resources for a long drawn-out battle.
As we well know by now, officially on paper, he is ‘in the clear’. NRTA and MCT both issued numerous replies to queries saying they have no records of him being a ‘disgraced’ celeb. He has broken no law. However, his ‘punishment by social death 社会性死亡 ‘ by the monopoly of platforms still stands today, which leads other people to see him as ‘guilty’, because why else is he still being boycotted otherwise? Even actual celebs who have actually broken the law very recently, faced far less severe punishment.
Let’s face it, since we love Zhang Zhe Han as his fans, we have confidence that he is ‘blue-chip’. But at the moment, as an ‘investment’, the future of his acting career looks pretty bleak. He is currently the center of a shitstorm, attracting all kinds of negativity because antis and certain groups won’t let him or his family live in peace after 813. Anyone related to him, known to work with him, has been shown time and time again to be harassed by all kinds of forces. Their weibo accounts get reported and suspended, DMs flooded with hate speech. He not only has to face the scrutiny of antis, but also ‘concerned fans’ and ‘fans-turned antis’.
Just as Mr Li Xue Zheng had been threatened countless times before, both online and offline, the Army Lawyer who have stuck by this case, shares that he has been getting ‘friendly warnings’.

Someone kindly reminded me, not to be made use of by others, if I get myself into trouble it will affect my own future. The DM is once again from accounts with no profile pic, no name, new account without followers. Its really doing good things without leaving your name, finish your job and hide your name and credit – he is being threatened again.
Those professionals in the media industry who are speaking up for him, working with him, some of these people may even face certain difficulties in jobs or investments for their projects in future. Yet these brave individuals show their support for him through action, and openly shower ZZH with kind words.
This touching show of solidarity for him, is incredibly moving and speaks volumes about how ZZH as an individual, can inspire such loyalty and sense of unwavering commitment in the face of such overwhelming adversity. Lets keep in mind that he is also working through the effects after the trauma he had gone through, even as he is learning new skills, enriching himself and working on secret new projects.

Early in the morning, Director Zhou Yan ( another veteran director ) shares a cheerful message on her weibo – she is not known to be ‘connected’ to ZZH before this – but it seems that she had been involved in his shoots during his time in Beijing back in February.

The Streetwear brand that ZZH launched is called EHZ ( An exahertz (EHz) )
Brand message is FIND YOUR VOICE
Very apt since a voice is exactly what he lacks right now, being silenced by all the platforms
No chance to speak up in China, about his unfair ‘trial’ by CAPA, his appeal met with silence.
Perhaps it is also his hope that fans who remained can still resonate with him and his feelings, against the exhausting noise and interference run by antis on a daily basis.
And on another personal level, maybe fans themselves can find courage and be able to stand up for their own beliefs in their lives, even if they are under peer pressure to hide their real thoughts and feelings to the rest of the world.
While some people were arguing if the Brand really belonged to ZZH, whether they would support or not, the caps sold out in a flash when they launched at 11:05am. Another smaller sale listing in the late afternoon also concluded very successfully.
ZZH’s buddy, Zhang Su ( Susu ), sported the new caps proudly during his afternoon live streams. Despite losing 20k+ followers by the end of the day for doing so, he continued to wear the white version the next day, and still wore it on Apr 4. When interrogated by some rather rude ‘fans’, he clarified that he has nothing to do with the launch or the product, that it was not his place to comment on certain questions, and confirmed that he was only supporting his friend Zhehan. He also said that soon, ZZH will be seen wearing the line himself.

There had been a time last year when ‘some people’ had even attempted to make GJ seem close to Susu, thereby making their ‘friendship’ seem ‘accepted by family’, however Susu had stated clearly that he has no collaboration with the 3 6 1 brand and has no connections whatsoever with a certain famous male celeb 没有任何关系.
Make no mistake whose side this man is on.
Mar 31 Evening Su Shifu – SSF
After getting a flood of DMs to question about ZZH and the new brand in his inbox ( this particular group of ‘fans’ had really trusted in the analysis and views of ‘sagely’ Teacher Su before the events of the past few days – he had been an advocate to ‘stay silent’ and often chided fans not to quarrel – which left alot of room for interpretation ) but it seems like he finally lost his patience and was very blunt this time around.
He takes a dig that he does not survive on being a traffic star.
1. He scolds people for the lapse in logic – someone might be stopped from starting a business but how can anyone be forced into business?
2. He wonders why people are trying to get him to confirm their ‘ship’ and said that ‘its hard to even say if this ship existed in the first place’.
3. C-ent is just a business – if you are willing, you support it, if not, don’t.
7. An ordinary person, one can have a company, find a job, show off some artistic hobbies, even have a bunch of people showing care and concern for, seems to be better off than he (Su Shifu).
Of course there is another kind of ‘concern’ – ( he means the forces against ZZH)… esp when its a Zero-sum game 零和博弈 (where winner takes all – the ‘other side’ will be the loser if ZZH wins)
SSF adds, Heavens only helps those who are worthy of help, and will only help those who face adversity with positive and collected attitude. He wishes ‘him’ well, that ‘he’ will go steadily and go far. He adds that even though how ‘he’ does will not really benefit him.

This is the first time, after Zhang Xia ( his mother ) used ZSJ’s Great Wall blog photos in her own poem post last month, that ZZH has confidently made a direct connection to ZSJ.
Soon after, an account ( which might be his current staff ) released unseen photos from his shoot in Hainan – Sanya last year, as well re-upload a blurry but very adorable ZSJ waving enthusiastically at the camera, in celebration for the 1st anniversary for his song [ Heart Towards the Sun 心若向阳].

APR 2 Su Shifu posts once again, alluding to his post 48 hours ago, and commented that he thought he would have lost 20k+ of followers ( he knows what had happened to Zhang Su )
Anxious at this ‘unexpected’ new success of ZZH, a malicious rumor was spread about him that I do not care to repeat in detail here (‘BF in Beijing’ and later changed back to the old GF rumor).
Unfortunately this slander affected his friend as well as the talented photographer 于辛辣老师 who have worked with him many times in the past year. The photographer had a very unpleasant time, being harassed in his DMs, as well as deleting a post he made on Feb 28 ( the date he went on a shoot with ZZH – where he had posted a cryptic msg to let fans know all is well.

Teacher Yu had to scold the people who ‘attacked’ him, and he left a frustrated message in response to the rumors, which we can only imagine, might be what ZZH still faces every single day he wakes up – I really hope he has staff to filter those messages of poison.
He later even had to post a clarification post regarding his status as a party member, which looks like he was probably bothered by 碍国 antis – those ‘patriotic’ accounts that still hunt down anyone who is associated with ZZH – calling them traitors.

Apr 3 midnight ( 三月三 ) ZZH’s Instagram updated with 2 brand new photos since last August !!!
Our joy and relief to gaze upon ZZH, looking once again into the camera, is indescribable. This was more than most of us had dared hope for, even though it has really been a very long wait.
Writer Hu shared the high res photos with fans, and clarified that she has misspoke before, and that the GZS 工作室 mentioned is not the same team who worked with ZZH in the past, and she just meant its the ‘friends’ who is helping him right now.
Everyone who worked or stayed on with him, those ‘passer-by non fans’ who came after August or November, to support an injustice but stayed because they wanted to root for his success, every single one of them can see how bravely he is moving forward despite all that he faces.
艰巨 Arduous
如何谋生，如何自救 How to make a living, how to save himself
Launching a brand is no easy task. Breaking ZZH is also turning out to be a much longer struggle than the ‘rival competitors’ realized. He just refused to stay down or disappear.
By now it should be very clear what strategies ‘they’ are employing:
– cutting off his income sources
– wearing down his will, constantly not letting up on the harassment of those around him
– isolating him from friends, co-workers, concerned non-fans with intimidation, harassment, often using key terms such as cult 邪教, unpatriotic in order to report accounts or even people
– keeping up with spreading of rumors though different sources – using ex-fan ‘insider’ accounts now that 清朗 has prevented official V accounts from daring to engage
– reducing his fandom support by undermining ZSJ, and in turn cast ZZH in a bad light
– make it exhausting and unpleasant to be part of his fandom, by tiring out fans by applying constant chaotic pressures
– even tried to 借刀杀人 make use of other celebrity fandoms ( Cai ) to incite fandom fighting on April 1
Bao Deng Yuan, was targeted by spreading rumors that there was a problem with their tea. They repeatedly used one image of the 金花 issue in that smear package. BDY had to issue legal warnings against damaging their reputation as recent as a few weeks ago.
The next move was to cast doubt on the Shenzhen teashop and Aunt Chen – since they were the ‘insider connection’ that helped in ZSJ’s appearance. After confirmation of their ‘closeness’ thanks to Kele the furry mascot, they have seem to have abandoned that route.
ZSJ has also been purposefully painted as ‘weak’, ‘cowardly’ etc It is clear that those who mock this account, know that they are influencing those in preparation for the eventual reveal – which has now happened. Confirmed by ZZH himself, his mother as well as the outsider, Su Shifu in his April 3 post.
” I am clear that cp and solos are two main factions. I don’t side with either, but some people are always helping me choose. He himself was mulling over writing something, in response to the rumors which said his ‘book reading image’ is fake, and also to establish a communication channel with fans.
As for why not under his real name, its simple, songs cannot even make it to platforms will they even allow him to open a public blog? You are thinking too much.”
Now the latest target has been shifted to his ‘Manager’ 谢伊华 Xie Yi Hua. It had been rumored back in Nov that he had a veteran manager who was willing to help him. She had been ZZH’s Music Manager in 2019, and had produced his “Another Me” EP and his concert in OCT 2020.
It appears that she currently holds a small portion of shares in the fashion company, whose majority stake is held by another lady with surname Chen ( which is assumed to be another one of ZZH’s family ). XYH ‘s own media company has registered for the trademarks of ZSJ for related goods ( which could be to prevent others from making use of this penname after it gets famous from its relation to ZZH himself ) as well as the current logos for EhzZ and ELPV ( the logo currently on ZZH’s IG ). Rumors are Xie’s sister had designed these logos, which makes sense for her company to be the one to own the copyright. The logo that ZZH ( 主理人 Director Zhang ）had designed is this one :
Zhang Xia ( his mother ) currently owns the registered trademark copyright for the haizhe handsign logo which had been registered last Aug before 813 happened. We will have to wait to see who eventually registers for the Z logo.
Some are concerned that the companies involved in this Brand, are not in ZZH’s name, but with compensation lawsuits looming over him, who in the right mind will risk building up a brand and losing it soon after? In fact, if you look at C Ent, there are many stars with a ‘side business’ who does not list the companies or assets directly under their own name, but entrusted to their trusted family members. DL is one such example if you are curious you can find out more on your own.
XYH is not well liked or trusted by many, but if ZZH trusts her and entrusted his comeback to her, then we can only hope that she will be up to the task and do a great job. By casting doubt on who benefits from the launch of ZZH’s Streetwear brand, it is obvious that ‘they’ are desperately trying to stop sales. Fans have reported that even though this brand is not owned by ZZH directly, the fanpage for the brand has already been deleted by the platform.
One comment from weibo makes alot of sense:
“开潮牌ins这么大的事，没一个营销号敢吭声，mnc也知道不能赚这笔断头钱”
“Launching a Streetwear on INS is such a huge deal, but not a single YXH ( big V ) accounts dared to make any comment, mnc knows they cannot make money from this ‘head-losing task'”
Contrast this situation to when the ‘fake Luffy’ account appeared last November, so many big Vs mocked ZZH for trying to ‘resurrect through his dog’ “张哲瀚借狗还魂想要复出” because they counted on his inability to ‘talk back’.
Now that its a legitimate business, any open slander against this brand, will have serious legal consequences during 清朗, so its definitely not a bad move as some try to claim. In fact, its better to launch during these ‘stern’ times than the same period last year.
Most of the negativity about the Brand Launch is from a disgruntled ‘former fan’ who has been ‘rampaging’ and trying to prove she has ‘connections’ to ZZH’s current inside circle. Among other grievances against Manager Xie, Wang mm claims that ZZH has nothing to do with the Streetwear brand and will not ‘earn a cent’ from its profits.
ZZH still has his rights as a citizen to start a business even if he is cut off from any acting or performing pursuits. And the fact that a former ‘big fan’ is the one making all the fuss, trying to dissuade others from supporting this brand, just shows that this account has been used to spread dissent on purpose. The laws against one ‘person/account’ is still very mild, especially when ‘she’ chose to conduct her attacks as ‘insider exposures’, well knowing that confidential business decisions and strategies are obviously not able to be shared in public as evidence to counter her accusations.
Not a day goes by, without some tiresome quarrels in the fandom, creating loud and distracting noise attempting to detract from focusing on procedural justice. If you pay attention, this ‘force’ is always trying to stir up unhappiness and chaos in the fandom – are they trying to recreate another successful case when another BL actor had been punished for his fandom’s actions, and if they can’t stop ZZH coming back, they will ‘get him’ through ‘bad fandom behavior’? Let’s hope our fandom is wise enough to not fall into that trap.
Why not try to sue these accounts?
Teacher Li Tian Shi 李天时 should be a name familiar by now… He has been one of the people who have tirelessly churned out essay after essay in the fight for justice – his essays get reported and deleted often but this guy is relentless.

Apr 1 Mr Li Tian Shi shared the current punishment for one slander and cyberbullying case – 1 individual against 1 doctor :
Apology post on Weibo’s mainpage pinned for 60 days, compensation 60k yuan.
This is for spreading rumors, insulting, slander, damage to emotional well-being etc
Zhao Lusi had a relatively simpler case, where one netizen had edited an image to spread rumors about her sending him a “Like you @…” on Douban. This case was from Oct 30, 2020. It was only ruled end of March 2022. He will have to pay 45k yuan as compensation to damaging her reputation. This case took 18 months to have a conclusion.
ZZH has around 30+ rumors, executed by bots and antis, across different platforms, how will he be able to chase them all down without the prosecution accepting his case for investigation? In fact, like the infamous B-site Uploader who had already fled to Japan end of Nov last year, how many are even still around for the authorities to capture? Who then, will be responsible for his massive financial, emotional losses faced, and how can he clear his name from the books which have published his case and named him as a traitor for ‘visiting the shrine’? ZZH needs his ‘country’ and the courts, to officially declare that he is innocent and restore his reputation.
ZZH’s case, if accepted, will surely set a precedent based on the massive scale and the repercussions to his loss of rights to ‘exist’ online, to have suffered a terrible ‘social death’ whose effects even extended to being included in offline book publications. But who can tell how long this fight, if it can even take place, will last? With such small compensations amounts, how many people would he need to sue to pay for the huge compensations that he faces?

The gist of it is: everyone chill.
Don’t use the name of ‘love’ to restrict what someone can or cannot do – that is selfish and unbecoming.
Respect choices made, if one cannot understand, maintain your silence.
The enemies are not each other, its the intangible forces that always operate in the dark, unfair procedures…etc
There have been a few filings to freeze ZZH’s assets, and those companies which have yet to do so, might be holding back to await his legal proceedings. No one is naïve enough to believe that the brands were not going to hold someone responsible for their huge financial losses are they? See how much compensation DL is facing to pay
On top of everything, the pandemic has now affected daily lives once again.
Su Shifu updates on Apr 4, that 监委的朋友 his friends in the Supervisory commission cannot travel due to lockdown, so the ‘tiger’ might be able to last one more month… No idea if this has anything to do with ZZH but we can only wait and see.
艰难 Difficult
A celebrity’s personal life has been said to be ‘fair game’ since they are public figures. But for someone like ZZH who has now become a 素人 ‘ordinary person’, the magnifying glass on him seems to have become even more unforgiving. He has had to share certain private details of his life just to prevent it being blown out of proportion by people who are not satisfied with how he just won’t be gone from C Ent.
Mr Li Tian Shi says
Two sentences are really harmful:
谣言止于智者 Rumors will stop with the wise
清者自清 An innocent person will not need to dispel rumors – the truth will prevail
On the internet, the wise is the weaker group, if you don’t fight against the foolish, you will not be able to maintain your reputation.
In the past, when ZZH was a successful celebrity, fans did not really question how much money he made per endorsement, or how much each drama or variety projects paid. They would spend on his endorsement products, especially when there was 周边 freebies.
But now, there seems to be more expectations for ZZH to act a certain way, share certain information, before some fans would consider showing him support. If ZZH maintains his silence on certain matters, he is ‘wrong’. If he was to voice out these grievances directly in person, he might be accused of gaining sympathy 卖惨. Even ZSJ sharing about his mental health, drew certain mockery and fire his way.
So what’s a man to do? Grit his teeth and carry on.
Some fans are also making apologies for his ‘change’ – they felt that he is no longer the ‘angelic’ ZZH who spoke often of being kind to one another. Writing under a pen-name to let fans know the truth without naming names – offering some last bit of dignity to the offending party, became a ‘low-handed way’ to reveal the truth. Starting a business became ‘greed’ and exploiting fans.
Su Shifu, revealed that ZZH had told him, that GJ had no longer been in touch with him since 813. I suppose SSF felt that some hard things had to be spelled out before some fans would believe it.
” As for the caps, I have my reservations, anyway I didn’t buy. But no matter what, he still have rights to legally do business as a Chinese citizen. If you like you can spend, if you don’t like , don’t spend, if you are unsure then just observe, I don’t know what is there to quarrel about… Whether it is nice or not is one thing, but at least it is a legitimate business… “
…挣钱害人 – Let me talk about this thing about harming others in order to earn money . I will be clearer, gaining profits from building the CP universe. From my understanding, before things went bad their relationship was not bad, but as (ZZH) had shared, after 813 (GJ) had not contacted him since.
ZZH had undergone an unthinkable amount of stress and trauma, seeing his entire 10 year long career and future destroyed in a matter of days. When he finally felt like he reached the peak, hit the highway at last, he lost everything due to that coordinated smear campaign. As we had felt helpless to defend him, he was also helpless to defend his own loved ones against the harassment that hounded them everywhere – his family’s tea business, his nephew’s hurt and confusion to be told by others that his uncle was ‘ a bad man’.
This was no longer ‘just business’, it has gotten very personal.
Surely that the admiration from the people around him, who are still around him, who are willing to go against the forces that work against him, proves that he has not changed. Not in the way that compromised his character.
He had stubbornly not taken the easy way out in every step he has chosen to take so far.
The teashop had been asked to limit sales so that fans will not overspend.
++ EDITED ++ ZSJ Blog’s 打赏 “Like the author” function has been turned off – if he really wanted to exploit fans, he could have left it on, and some fans would gladly shown their ‘love’ in all kinds of amounts, since it is legal and would be ‘crowdfunding’ his legal efforts.
Like Su Shi Fu wrote in his essay, ZZH did not choose to stoop to the tactics to ingratiate a substantial shared cp fanbase.
Su Shifu commented about his personal doubts on the business decision of ‘小哥’ in his Apr 3 post.
” From my personal point of view, I have reservations about how he gave news which is unbeneficial to maintaining cp fans at this juncture, from this point, this young bro is more pure than I am, if its me I will definitely maintain this until circumstances have changed, after all who will turn down a larger slice of cake? Especially at a time when he needs support the most. This also proves that this young bro really doesn’t have any bad intentions in him, or from another angle, perhaps he really doesn’t understand the human heart.
